We have had problems with a roof leak over the past few years. Various attempts have been made to resolve these problems but none have worked. We contacted Ashvale Roofing Systems for advice on how to fix the problems and to get an idea of costs. Communication was good and they came out to review the problem promptly. The leak appears to have been longstanding and a result of a design flaw and poor construction.
Previous attempts to repair the roof through “quick fix" approaches by other companies were unsuccessful and costly. Ashvale Roofing Systems gave an honest opinion about the problem and provided a quotation for works. Following approval of the quotation, scaffolding was erected quickly and when the weather was suitable, the old grp valley removed and replaced. The water flow down the roof was redirected around the end of the parapet with well constructed, good quality, lead flashing. New deep guttering has been installed and original wood facia replaced and treated.
In our opinion, the work was undertaken professionally and to a high standard. We believe the problem has now been resolved and would recommend Ashvale Roofing Systems to others that have any roofing problems.

After realising that our ageing ridge tiles required replacing for preventative maintenance reasons, we approached Ashvale Roofing Systems Ltd. and they were very helpful indeed. The price quoted was excellent and the job was fitted into their work schedule within a few days. We have used Ashvale on two previous occasions at our domestic property for flat roofs on the house and also a garden shed, we have always been satisfied with their work and to date have had no problems with either roof they completed. My car port required the plastic roof renewing, so I contacted Ray Hill at Ashvale for a quote for this work, and also to design a walkway where the car port joins our home so the dormer windows could be cleaned easily. Ray suggested that the material we should use for the roof be changed from plastic to translucent fiberglass. We agreed the quote, which was a little more than we had expected, but when Ray explained the price of the fiberglass sheets, we understood the reason. Approximately 3 weeks later the carport roof and walkway were completed to an excellent standard, we are both very pleased with the work, the sheets let more light through than we expected. Quality work much superior to the two previous roofs I had fitted myself, and a 75 year old didn’t have to climb any ladders. Thank you Ashvale.

After more high winds we were left with no roof on our sprinkler pump room and water pouring in onto the electrical control panels. l called Ashvale Roofing to see if they could help us. Ray and his team were on site early the next morning and set to preparing a quote for me. Shelley had the quote back to me in double quick time along with the risk assessment and method statement. Ray and his team came on site carried out a first-class job of stripping out what felt was left, preparing and laying a three-layer system with metal trim, they even repaired the brick work.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company, first class job, by people who take pride in their work, my only regret is Ashvale Roofing never did the job in the first place as l am sure it would still be there if they had.
